Steve è prima di tutto un uomo, non è una star (almeno nel senso convenzionale della parola), e questa sua grande umanità è forse la sua vera e preziosa forza e ricchezza.
Puoi essere un bambino afghano, o una ragazza norvegese, per lui conta poco: conta solo il tuo sguardo e i tuoi occhi, solo da quello lui capisce le persone e le attraversa come un fantastico eroe della Marvel, esplorandone i suoi confini.
Steve quando lo conosci, ti sembra già di averlo incontrato, forse perchè nel suo sguardo sono stampate le migliaia di immagini che ha raccolto per il mondo, e il suo modo di guardare è diverso da quello di centinaia di Celebrities che ho conosciuto nel mio mondo.
Sempre disponibile con tutti, ama il suo lavoro, vive per lui, ma ha colto l'essenza della sua meravigliosa dote: guardare e apprezzare la bellezza racchiusa in ognuno di noi.
Audrey - When you observing the woman what is the part that express more than other?
Steve Mccurry - For me part of the body wich express is the most in the woman or even in the man that matter is the eyes, because i think the eyes are really showing the personality and is a part that is the most express.... i would to say.. the eyes
Audrey - what is for you man or woman that represent the Style?
Steve Mccurry - When i think a woman with great style i think is Isabeli Fontana who is one of the great model of the world...with the great style....with great elegance...with a great beauty.....
Steve Mccurry - i think is also is a wonderful style in the nature... i think trees...and mountains....in that we have.... shape...elegance.....or some animals... i think....with great style ...with great elegance...
Steve Mccurry - i think for me this exhibition... in palazzo reale..in Monza...is really a way to show...to the people.. that really appreciate my work....and come and see this amazing world we live.
Audrey - Quando osservi una donna qual'è la parte del corpo che secondo te è più espressiva?
Steve Mccurry - Per me la parte del corpo che esprime più nella donna o anche nell'uomo sono gli occhi, perchè penso che gli occhi mostrino realmente la personalità e secondo me sono la parte più espressiva.... vorrei dire..gli occhi
Audrey - Un'uomo o una donna che rappresenta per te lo Style?
Steve Mccurry - Quando penso a una donna con un grande Style penso a Isabeli Fontana che è una della più grandi modelle al Mondo....con grande Style....con grande eleganza....con grande bellezza.....
Steve Mccurry - ..penso anche che esiste un meraviglioso Style nella natura....penso agli alberi....alle montagne.....io questo abbiamo.... forme...eleganza....o anche in qualche animale....io penso....con grande style...grande eleganza..
Steve Mccurry - ..penso che per me quetsa mostra...a Palazzo Reale...a Monza....è un modo vero di mostrare...alle persone...che realmente apprezzano il mio lavoro.....di poter venire e vedere questo fanatastico mondo in cui viviamo.
