Three-time GRAMMY® Award winner Gwen Stefani, one of the world’s most talented and beloved vocalists - Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli - and music icons Kool & the Gang will be exclusively performing at the Gala to address the crucial challenges the world’s Oocean is facing, while The Masked Singer jury member Robin Thicke will host the extravaganza after-party at the ultra-chic Casino de Monte-Carlo’s private lounges until dawn. Sophia AI, the latest human-like robot that has been , described as the “personification of our dreams for the future of AI”, will also make a special appearance on the Global Ocean Gala stage and among prestigious guests.
All proceeds from the Monte-Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean and its auction will support the Foundation’s Global Ocean initiatives, and includinge the development of marine protected areas, the protection of threatened marine species, the mitigation of the impact of climate change and acidification on the Ocean as well as and the fight against plastic pollution. The Foundation has donated more than 55 million euros to initiate or support more than 470 projects around the world.
