Cannes 2014 - Fra tutte le feste, quella di Vanity Fair è forse quella più indicativa, poichè si è svolta a l’Hotel du Cap Eden Roc un luogo mitico per il festival del cinema di Cannes, che ha visto passare star come Rodolfo Valentino, Charlie Chaplin, Fred Astaire, Marlene Dietrich, Gary Cooper, Jhon Waybne, Orson Wells, Rita Hayworth, Frank Sinatra, Liz taylor, fino ad arrivare ai piu’ grandi del cinema di oggi e senza dimenticare i Picasso i Chagalle o i Churchill o i Kennedy.
Il luogo mozzafiato, degno di un set hollywoodiano, ma soprattutto pieno di storia che si sente ad ogni passo che si fa sulla sua balconata che affaccia sul mare. La sua bellezza e’ nella sua magia: ti affacci per ammirare il panorama al tramonto, e la bellezza che ammiri ti da’ la sensazione di essere in un film….poi ti giri per sorseggiare il tuo champagne e affianco ti ritrovi Harrison Ford, o Julianne moore o Sylvester Stallone, Adrien Brody, Mel Gibson, Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, con cui puoi parlare tranquillamente di cose normali come se realmente fossimo tutti su un set di un non ben decifrato film.
